JUNIOR TEE TIME POLICY
Due to the fact that the Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club has become very busy over the past few years, Juniors will not be allowed to play anytime during the year without booking a tee time in advance. Tee times may be reserved 3 days in advance commencing at 7:00 AM throughout the season. Tee times will be accepted by TELEPHONE ONLY until 8:00 AM on the appropriate booking days. Walk in tee times or telephone calls will be accepted after 8:00 AM.

Junior Members who are 15 years of age and under must tee off on weekdays prior to 4:15 PM.  Juniors must tee off after 3:30 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Juniors may play at anytime when accompanied by an adult member.

GOLF ETIQUETTE
A)  SLOW PLAY:
It is important that all players keep a steady pace when playing golf. Always remember to keep up with the group ahead of you. If you find that you are playing to slow, please pick up your ball and move along or let the group behind play through. If you wish to play through a group always remember to ask politely. If they agree, move through as quickly as possible and remember to be courteous and say “thank you”.  The Club now promotes four sets of tees on the course.  High handicap Juniors are asked to always play from the Yellow tee blocks.

B) REPAIRING DIVOTS:
Everyone wants to play on a good golf course. If you take a divot when playing a shot please take the time to replace the divot. Replacing the divot will ensure that the ground will heal faster.

C) FIXING BALL MARKS:
Many times when your ball lands on the green the force of the impact leaves an impression on the green known as a ball mark. It is your responsibility to repair your ball mark. It is good golf etiquette to repair one additional ball mark on each green. A ball mark repair tool is available for pick up in the Pro Shop. If you do not know how to repair a ball mark, please ask our Professional staff. They will be more than willing to assist you.

D) RAKING SAND TRAPS:
After hitting your ball from a sand trap it is important that you take the time to rake the trap so that it is smooth for the next player. After raking please leave the rake outside the trap.

E) LANGUAGE AND BEHAVIOUR:
Please remember that when on the property you are a representative of the entire Junior program. Foul language and bad behaviour is unacceptable and may be subject to disciplinary action.
